    Hi,
i am trying to set menu anchors to module postions on home to make the template to an onepager.
All my installations are only on localhost for testing.

In Joomla normally i have to set this in the menu-item settings:
In menu-item Details i set menu-type to URL,
The link to: index.php?Itemid=101#about (101 is the menu-ID of home, about is the name of my module)
I have also tried the following settings:
    index.php?#about
    index.php?Itemid=101#section-1 (section-1 is the module-position)
    index.php?#section-1

But if i click then on the menu-item on the frontpage nothing happens.

I have tried this for testing in this templates:
    ja_restaurant
    ja_company
    ja_apollio
    ja_elicyon
    ja_nuevo

In template ja_resume it worked fine!
Is there somewhere else a setting?

    do you have any ideas?
    thx

    Hi Geri,

JA Resume or JA Onepage are specific templates for onepage which support JS & Style for anchor navigation.

In JA Restaurant, you can use external URL menu type to achieve that. For example, in our demo site, you want to jump to a block called ‘DISCOVER OUR STORY’ on homepage from a menu item.

    • Create a menu item with type of External URL
    • This block has id="Mod101" : http://prntscr.com/gsmphg so you fill #Mod101 into the Link option of this menu item.

    http://prntscr.com/gsmq2z

    It should work then.
