am sure my questions is very easy to most of you but am new to jomla and wanted to know after I completed the backup how do I move it to make the website live? Here is the link

I want to make it so that visitors will only have to type lighthouseacademy.us

Thanks, I tried everything and am unable to get it to work, not sure what am missing but I did try if you have any suggestions please let me know i still have the .kickstart.php on the server.

You must reach your site with the http://www.yoursite.com/kickstart.php

in your site folder you must have only the file obtained from the previous backup with akeeba

(for example you have this file “site-www.yoursite.com-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx.jpa” obtained from the akeeba component )

you must copy in your master root folder this file and the kickstart.php file

Then goto your site with http://www.yoursite.com/kickstart.php and follow the instructions on the screen
