I am sorry but you have not given any help …

I tried myself with the following:

h1.logo a {
background: url(../images/logo.gif) no-repeat left;
position: absolute;
display: block;
height: 45px;
width: 236px;
left: 25%;
margin-left: 118px;

and centre using negative left margin i.e. margin-left: -118px;.

Checked with Safari browser, Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer …it seems to be o.k.
