Hi D1same,

Go to MENU MANAGER/EDIT MENU ITEM

If you just want to edit how your front/ home page articles are displayed, just select the HOME menu item (or whatever you’ve named your default menu item).

In the menu item, look for ADVANCED OPTIONS. Then Scroll down until you find ARTICLE ORDER.

In the ARTICLE ORDER drop down, select MOST RECENT FIRST and then save and close.

“Categories” in front end? I would like to change that to Channels.

Just go into your Menu manager again and select the “Categories” menu. When that opens you should find the Categories menu item plus other menu items that sit under it. Just click on the word “Categories” and change the “Menu Title” field. Save and close.

Looks like you’ve just changed the Category, rather than the Menu title. Don’t know how you are set up, but is Main Menu your default? If so, go into the Main Menu (the first screenshot you sent) and search for Categories and change that title to Channels…

Are you trying to change the heading that appears above the menu on the left sidebar? Or are you trying to change the title that appears on the front page?

Lets try it another way.

Go into your Module Manager.

Find the module that is set to the “Sidebar” position.

This should be a “menu” module.

Open that module and check what menu is selected under “options”.
