I tried this update on localhost , did not noticed any issue , but since the template is not officially ready for it , i suggest you to wait for update and do not updated your live site .

For testing Try the update on localhost first to check it .

There is one issue after joomla 3.6 update on all my t3 purity templates.

On frontend article submission if you try to insert "Intro image" or "Full article image", you will see that the modal window with frontend media manager will freeze. And there is nothing you can do to close it after you try to insert image.

since the template is not officially ready for it , i suggest you to wait for updates and do not updated your live site and wait for official udpates
