Do you think is better to wait for Joomla 1.6 then implementing K2? Seems that 1.6 will offer so much that K2 will become obsolete.

K2 will not become obsolete. J1.6 has no core CCK.

I agree with Scotty. K2 is a content construction kit which resides alongside Joomla. The Joomla core does not have the ability to extend it content like K2. Although J1.6 introduces a much-improved nested category like K2, it will not replace the need for K2 in some situations.
