Hi,
I am using the Joomlart Template JA Polaris. Does anyone have any look with any of the Google Analytics Extension found on joomla.org. If so could you let me know what extension you are using and where you are placing it , debug, header, footer, etc.?Or do you have to use an extension, can you just insert the GA code?
Thanks,
Rick

April 19, 2007 at 3:07 pm #218467I am not using it myself but I seem to remember that one extension was published rather recently which should be “self-installable” more or less. Haven’t tested it but you should find it there on extension.joomla.org

April 20, 2007 at 12:45 pm #218551Hi,
I’ve tried a couple of extensions for Google Analytics I found at extensions.joomla.org but wan´t happy.
So I just pasted the Analytics code before the </body> tag of my template. My problem, now is AdWords tracking, I have this nightmarish experience with FacileForms I can’t make them redirect to some static “thank you” page…
cheers,
AlexandreApril 20, 2007 at 9:09 pm #218577I found the best thing to use for GA is the extension called mod_html
It works. It’s really easy to set up, and it saves having to mess with any code.Just install the module, paste the GA code into the module and place the module wherever you want, in the header I guess… it’s all invisible.
