Hello!
Do not have this new menu item association option in my Joomla 1.7 with Ja social on it (a slider when configuring a menu item parmeters) What could be the reason?

Not sure what you are referring to – are you referring to editing menu items in Joomla1 1.7?
Would you mind providing a screenshot? – maybe that will help us see what you are looking at.
