I am using janewspro on my teline home page. My articles that will be summarized by janewspro contain images, text and video. For the video we are using the jwplayer plugin. The janewspro module has the option to enable joomla content plugins. I have enabling and disabling this option and neither does what I need.

If I enable it then janewspro put the jwplayer code on the home page. If I disable it it puts the embedded {jwplayer}….{/jwplayer} code in the content so it is visible.

What I need is for the jwplayer embedded code to be discarded in janewspro – not to put it in the code at all.

Can you point me in the right direction please?

If i’m not wrong, you are talking about this module ? And you want to use {jwplayer} into this module ? To show a media player here ?.
Uhm, not sure you can . Because module is not always have called even trigger , so it’s mean plugin can’t trigger also :).
To do that you’ll need some hack core into this module.

There are actually 3 modules on the page I have to do the same thing to, but only the janewspro module was part of joomlart’s teline. The other 2 are from other developers (iJoomla). You can see from the Section “From the corner office down – the text “You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed to view this player. ” The code that has the jwplayer code added to it is below. So what I want janewspro is to not include the translated code or the {jwplayer … code. But to actully ignore it and discard it.

Hi, good morning.
Okay we will go step by step.
#1. You have some articles with code {jwplayer} and these articles displayed into JA News Pro.
The trouble: The module didn’t remove that code and still keep it showed on page
– For this trouble. I’m so sorry but as our module working it’s not allow for 3rd plugin trigger that’s why these code be not removed.
To do that is possible but need some code modify. if you want i can try to help you.
