Could this template JA XENIA, module JA News Module – Ajax headlines, allow for use encoding different language than “encoding=iso-8859-1”?

Is this modul JA News regular read over texts for use Joomli: Central European ISO-8859-2 (Letters Central European) ?

I believe JA News can work with any charset as long as this charset will be used on the whole site.
