We want to display the newest 8 articles from a categorie with subcategories and dont want to load all articles.

But not at all menu buttons.

Hi

In Joomla, by default, the ‘Category Blog’ menu item type doesn’t provide option to limit the number of article displayed. You can only set to show 8 articles in the first load by setting for ‘intro articles’ option.
