Does JA Tabs work in Joomla 3.8.3? I enter a copy of what is in the examples and nothing appears? Is a tab at the bottom of an article supposed to appear?

It should work with 3.8.3, kindly share the credentials of your site and clarify the issue in more details so I can check for you.
