When content that’s been imported from Facebook (using the JA System Social Feed Plugin) that contains an ampersand in the title, it is being displayed as & rather than &

Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi Matbeard7,

How many item errors does your site have?

    Could you provide url?

    Hi

I’m still testing and developing, but this occurs whenever an item is imported from Facebook that creates an ampersand in the title.

As an workaround I’m using the option to replace the imported title with specified text (which doesn’t include an ampersand).

Strangely, this problem only affects ampersands in the title. If they appear elsewhere they are displayed correctly. You can see for yourself here http://54.247.119.122/elvis-buzz

Also, I’ve noticed another problem — the JA Social Feed plugin keeps importing the same item from YouTube multiple times (you’ll notice ELVIS PRESLEY’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION 2012 appears several times.

    Cheers

    Hi Matbeard7

Also, I’ve noticed another problem — the JA Social Feed plugin keeps importing the same item from YouTube multiple times (you’ll notice ELVIS PRESLEY’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION 2012 appears several times.
I only see it appears one time on page http://54.247.119.122/elvis-buzz
Please check on backend , are there duplicate articles ( items ) ?

    Hi HeR0,

The ordering on that page is set to random, which probably explains why you only saw that item once, but it does appear in the backend 9 times and counting. It also starts to reappear multiple times when it’s deleted.

    Hi Matbeard7
I think that may be the is a problem with database of facebook, so you should delete all facebook items ( articles ) . Then you get them again from facebook via social feed.
