Hi all,

I finally figured it out. The default JA Social layout for left + main + right sets the ‘left’ as an ‘inset1’ position instead of the actual ‘left1’ position.

So I needed to create a new block name for the left position and re-name the inset-left position.

Here is the code:


<block name="inset1">inset-left</block>
<block name="left1">left</block>

Hope this helps someone else to avoid wasting 3+ hours.
