JA Popup Plugin for Joomla 1.6 User Guide
Step 1: Installation
You follow simple steps below:1. Install the plugin via Joomla Installer
Then, the plugin is instantly available in your front-end. If you are new to this stuff, follow detailed guideline below:

Step 2: Configuration
From the back-end of your Joomla site (administration) select Extensions->Plugin Manger,
then click on plugin title System – JA Popup Plugin to enter configuration panel:
1. Details Settings
Parameters Explanation:- Enable: To enable or disable the plugin in the system
- Access: To set the permission to view plugin in the frontend
- Ordering: The ordering of plugin in the Plugin listing of the system
2. Basic Options:
2.1. Popup type settings
Parameters Explanation:- Popup type: Type of popup (Fancy box, Grey box, High slide, Thick box, Multi box
- Center on scroll: Set postion of popup when scroll
- Scale Image: Set scaling for image
- Animation speed in: To set the speed in
- Animation speed out: To set the speed out
2.2. Popup type settings
Parameters Explanation:
- Width: Width of modal window
- Height: Height of modal window
- Show overlay (Dim background): The background will be dimmed when popup is opened
- Overlay fill: The higher the darker
- Add title to Tag: If Yes, the title will be displayed in popup windows
- Add description in Tag: If Yes, the descriptions will be displayed in popup windows
To add description in Tag, you must choose Popup type = MultiBox at Popup Type Settings tab
Then go to article detail to add description parameter in tag
And now you can see how it looks in the front-end
3. How to add Popup in your content
Popup plugin is a content plugin. It’s used in content manager.
You must add Popup tag in the content, it will be shown in the frontend.
Go to Content >> Article Manager.
In the content, you can see how to add Popup tag:
