I am looking at purchasing JA Methys. I am wanting to simplify the front page considerably. I like the contentslider and will probably use the “User1-10” positions, plus some of the left/right positions. There is a “content-main” position that shows up in the demo as “fashion news.” Is this collapsible? If not, where do I change “fashion news” to a different title? I’ve looked at everything I can find.

Help please. I love this template but this part is driving me crazy.

Please see my answers as follows:

Thanks! I figured out a way that I will use the content-main block so it all works out.

By the way, I actually found a way to collapse this section, too. Under “Template – Edit” > “Profiles” tab > “Hide Main Content Block?”

I don’t know if this is only for 1.5 or if that option is available for 1.6 too.

Are the images in the content slider linkable?

I have heard about JA Methys and they said it is one of the best application so far. Is it true and does such application is better for promotions? Can It improves my site? Thanks in advance

I have to say that this is one of the most VERSATILE Joomla templates I have seen in quite a while. With a little time/effort toward customization for one’s particular needs, this template could serve a variety of purposes – from an online magazine to a feature rich blog to a dynamic ecommerce/magazine/blog combination site, etc.

Hi I am also having a lot of trouble with the Fashion News module. I simply want to change the title but cannot find the ‘Home Menu Configuration’ that you mentioned. Could you please giv me more clear directions? Thank you, I’m still getting used to Joomla T3.

Hi pittinun,

You just go to back-end of the home menu item, there under the Page Display Options panel you would see the field of Page Heading leave that field empty that I think would help.
