hello, i consider to buy your JA Fixel Responsive Theme and checked how it works on mobile devices. i tried to change
the mega menu settings to stop the slider from scrolling every time, but i couldn’t find a setting for this.
    see my screenshot..
it looks not realy nice if the big mega menu is always over the content. can you add a additional setting to prevent such behavior or find a better solution for your mega menu slider?

    Greetings testcouch,

We control the way that JA Fixel template works in mobile devices via css files:

    templates/ja_fixel/css/bootstrap-responsive.css
    templates/ja_fixel/css/template-responsive.css
    templates/ja_fixel/css/megamenu-responsive.css

You can easily customize them a little bit to achieve that.

hi ninja lead, thanks for your reply. 🙂 css could be a option but i thought more on a Backend Option to stop the Mega Menu slide in effect on Mobile Devices. is there no Backend option to pin the Mega Menu on top Position?

On Mobile Devices there are both ways to show the menu

    1) Enable Off-Canvas:

    2) Disable Off-Canvas:

And you can try to use Disable Off-Canvas option from JA Fixel Template, It will set mega menu to top left site.

    Go to Admin site -> Extensions-> Template Manager -> ja_fixel – Default -> Navigation tabs-> Off-Canvas Navigation set NO

    1. enable_off_canvas
    2. disable_off_canvas
    3. disable_off_canvas_bk

Let me know which mobile device you are using to check your site. You also need to share your site url, so that we can also check it.

Or you can check our demo again: http://joomla-templates.joomlart.com/ja_fixel/index.php/en/

    Hey there,
Why don’t you try the demo bulider instead , have a good play with all the features inc. backend access, after all that’s what the demo builder is for? go to http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#ja_fixel click on button on left “demo builder”

    Cheers Shannon

hi Ninja Lead, thanks for your help..your screenshot shows a vertical view..there is enough space..the problem is more the horizontal view on iPhone. however i’m sure your developer create a good solution in Template Navigation Settings. 😀

thanks for your info. i tried latest T3 Framework and JA Fixel 1.0.3 but the issue with JA Fixel Mega Menu Slider on my iPhone 5 is still there.

It makes no sense for me that a Mega Menu Slider needs so much space in horizontal view!
