    Hi,

In the Extension Manager, Slideshow2 has the following information :

    • Extension Name : JA Slideshow2 Module
    • Author : JoomlArt
    • Type : Module
    • Version : 2.2.0
    • Created Date : 25 Nov 2010 (3 months ago)
    • Service : JoomlArt Updates

But if I click on “Check update”, it shows
    New version found!
    – 2.1.1 [New! 2010-11-03] Change Log – Compare – Upgrade Now
    – 2.1.0 [New! 2010-08-05] Change Log – Compare – Upgrade Now
    – 2.0.3 [New! 2010-07-05] Change Log – Compare – Upgrade Now
As you can see, proposed updates are not new versions but old versions. Why ? Of course, I didn’t try to “upgade” because I don’t want to downgrade.

Looking at the download page, it seems that there is a newer version of JA Slideshow 2 module, because date is 02-11-2011, but version number is the same. Is it really a new version, and why doesn’t it appear in Extension Manager ?

One more thing, in Extension Manager > Templates > JA Rave, I can’t set service to JoomlArt Updates, it’s always Local Service although the message “Your setting is successfully saved”. Why ?

    Hello mate,

It’s an error of our system when new version is not update for Updater service.
So that, the new version 2.2.0 will be known as invalid version (Our system check version depend on list of versions on our database, not depend on name of version).

    We have re-exported this version.
    Please check it agian.

    About this bug:

One more thing, in Extension Manager > Templates > JA Rave, I can’t set service to JoomlArt Updates, it’s always Local Service although the message “Your setting is successfully saved”. Why ?

Please give me your site URL and administrator account for further checking.
