Yes on all Joomla template you can create positions where ever you wish.

When i change:
.ja-masonry to 220px
.ja-frontpage #ja-content to 500 px

Website looks bad. See in the picture

If you need to increase 1px in one DIV

you need to decrease 1px in another section

By doing this you will achieve with a good layout
