For testing purposes I have created a menu type “HomePage” with the title of “blogging”. However, it still shows up with the default blogging style component. Can we please have someone look at this?

This is with Joomla 2.5.

How are you wanting the content to display?

As it is with the Blog style when the quickstart is displayed. The key feature is the date with the circle on top.
