Hello, I would like to insert a .m4v / video into my template. Can anyone suggest the best way/module to use? I want it to be playing as soon as the homepage is loaded… suggestions?

It will depend on which part of your site you want to display the video. You can try to use a 3rd party extension supporting this type of video: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/multimedia/multimedia-players/video-players-a-gallery

@sebbs: as I mentioned above, you can try with an extension that supports to display video then assign that extension into an available position in the homepage.
