I do not understand how estensions manager works and there is little documentation here. The video tutorial is confusing.

Can I up date my joomlart extentions through Joomla or is it demandatory to do it via JA Extensions Manager?

Please help

Hi

Yes you can update also using Joomla
The Ja_Extension manager is a little more detailed on Joomlart component update, giving you other features like file comparison and logs check and also the roll out feature to roll back the component – module – or plugin at your desired version
