Hi Iroger,
Did you mean sub-categories of K2 ?
If you assign this sub-categories to a menu item then you have to change setting for template in that menu item too.
I think it would be better if you send me your site URL and describe more details about your problem.

Can you explain in more details? What did you mean with this “category 1> Category A Category B Category C; “.
