I have a site using joomla 2.5 + telineIV template with member ship of user petitchamp ,whose member ship is expired.
So today all of your plugins and template fail to update with message:

Unknown Archive type
Update path does not exist
Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.

Now i want to migrate my site to joomla 3 and use JA Biz template.

Do you have any suggestion to the upgrade procedure ?

Do I need to remove all the previous version of template/ plugin and reinstall the latest and upgrade joomla?

@ acecefr,

Yes, you got the error message due to your membership expired.

In your case, it is a complicated process to upgrade Joomla from 2.5 to 3.2.
Further, you may using JA T3 (v2) Framework which is not compatible with our latest T3 (v3) Framework on JA Biz.

Please consider to install a clean JA Biz quickstart instead.
