Hi, I would like to insert a read more button to break up my articles….I’ve done this before easily on a different template, but for some reason I can’t get the read more button to show on my site. It only shows the entire article.

I have inserted the read more break in editor, and changed the text to say “continue.” I have also tried hiding and showing the intro text. I know it’s a simple fix, but I can’t figure it out. what else do I need to do?

Are the parameters set correctly under your Menu Manager (for each individual menu item)?

I have each of the menu items set to “show” read more. and still nothing. am i just forgetting something simple?

at the bottom of the article page you will see

place your cursor at the point you want the article to stop then press the read more button
