    Does anyone know the file that contains the HTML for Contact Form display in Joomla 2.5?
    The Contact Form displays “Contact” and then “Contact Form” in large text, as well as the heading.
    Since the Contact Form is obviously a “Contact Form” I would like to modify the form to remove the “Contact” and “Contact Form” lines. I would like them to display just as in Joomla 1.x and Joomla 1.5.
    I am afraid if users browse this page and the contact form is hidden, someone may just leave without contacting us.

    I tried solution to modify components/com_contact/views/contact/tmpl/default.php.
    as per suggestions in this article http://joomlatut.com/joomla-faq/146-file-for-modifying-display-of-contact-form-in-joomla-2-5.html, but it seems it does not work.

    I am using JA Edenite and Joomla2.5 to test a new site locally.

    Thank you for your help.

    Personally I think that the standard Joomla contact page is pants! So I never use it – I use Flexicontact instead as it has anti-spam built in. There are lots of Contact Forms that you can use – http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/contacts-and-feedback/contact-forms

    Thank you. I purchased another commerical components to solve this problem. Agree that the Joomla 2.5 contact page is not good enough.

    or you could edit the css file in plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/template.css to adjust
    /* contact plain */
    #ja-content-main .contact h3 {
    border-bottom: solid 0px #ddd
    margin: 1px 0;
    padding-bottom: 0px;

    to fit your look
