I can’t figure out how I can remove the color picker and template settings on top of the template… Is it possible to do so?

Nevermind – scanned the tutorial and found the answer there:

You can easily enable and/or disable the tools in JA Polaris. Go to the 28th line of “ja_polaris/index.php” and change the value of $ja_tool to the value you want. For example, 0 is disable screen and color, 3 is enable both

yes sergein, you can totally remove the user tool from the index.php as well as remove the color chooser
