I would like to start using joomla 1.6 but the templates do not work with it yet. Is there a way to manually change the templates to work with 1.6 and if so how? I don’t want to have to wait another month or two before the templates are compatible so I would like to do it myself.

Hi there,

If it was so easy to upgrade the templates to work with J 1.6. JA would have covered all the templates by now. Its best to wait till the templates are converted for J 1.6.
We would soon be releasing all the extensions, which have been upgraded to support J 1.6…since all these extensions were required for the template conversion, we are all set to upgrade the templates now…. It would be a while before the templates start rolling out.
