I get this domain.com/component/jak2filter/?xf_2_txt=417 whenever i do a search in JA K2. Its not a good thing and looks bad. How can i make use of url rewriting to at the very least make it to be

domain.com/search/?xf_2_txt=417

or even better

domain.com/search/xf_2_txt/417

I have SH404SEF btw too.

Hi.

I am sorry to say at present we do not have any plan to make it change to URL friendly.

I suggest you hire a developer for this task , you can also contact custom work services and get a Quota for this work here.
