I tried disabling the modules for Features and Tools that are in the mega-item and tried to add something else up there but Features and Tools remained up there. When I hover my cursor over those two items, I just get a black background. How can I remove them and add something else?
I am using Teline III 1.4.1
Thanks

May 27, 2010 at 8:50 am #344895Hi there,
Pls login to your back-end, then select the “topmega” in the drop-down of “Menus” at the horizontal tool bar. At this screen, you’re able to disable or add new some megamenu items as you wished.
Good luck!1 user says Thank You to Don Lee for this useful post

Hi dhartionline,Have you already solved the issue?
June 3, 2010 at 12:43 am #345743I figured out how to add/remove items from there, but once I add an item up top using “topmega” menu, I can’t figure out how to have it display something. Like there’s the twitter option up there, im trying to add a Facebook option when someone hovers Facebook with their cursor, it drops down the way the twitter one does and I want it to say “<my website> on Facebook”.
I tried making a module in the mega-item position then went to the “topmega” menu and added a “Separator” with the same exact name. The only thing that did was add Facebook up top, but when I highlight it, nothing happens.
Any idea?

June 3, 2010 at 10:16 am #345860Dear dhartionline,
With your example, please create a module like “Facebook Module”. At Facebook menu which your created, choice Parameters (JA Extended) -> Submenu Content -> Modules -> “Facebook Module” .
I checked and it is ok.
Contact to me if you have any questions.

June 6, 2010 at 2:53 am #346093When I go to the Facebook menu that I created, I don’t see “Parameters (JA Extended) -> Submenu Content -> Modules -> “Facebook Module”
Could you please help me figure out what’s wrong?

June 10, 2010 at 9:13 pm #346669Has quickstart package of version 1.4.1 a bug?
Hello,
Problem I first had was: in quickstart install plugin plg_jamenuparams was there and published, but when in Menu manager openening menu topmega and trying to edit a menu-item I did not see the extra parameter options for megamenu: Parameters (JA Extended)
When I try to uninstall the plugin (to install it anew) I get an error:
Plugin Uninstall: Manifest File invalid or not found. So: perhaps there is a bug in quickstart package?
When I delete the plugin in the database, next install it anew and publish it, all is OK!: Parameters (JA Extended) is now visible in menu-item manager.
When I just install the new template version 1.4.1 and install the plugin plg_jamenuparams from the template Ja_Purity_II, and than follow instruction of duchh, all is OK!
So: as far as I can see: this plugin should be in the list of files for the latest version of Jateline_III.
Regards,

June 25, 2010 at 11:39 am #348098Hi
I also Installed quickstart of 1.4.1
Also same problem however this fix did not work for mei used phpmyadmin to delete the plugin from the database
installed the plugin plg_jamenuparams from JA Purity II
however the option
Parameters JA Extended
still does not appear and cosequently nor does my mega menu workHelp.
June 25, 2010 at 12:31 pm #348108Yeah none of the “fixes” worked for me either so I am using 1.4.1 but for the header i’m using the files from template 1.2 i believe.. It works that way
