I want to remove the prev and next buttons on the bottom of each article. Also, I want to get rid of article seperator after those buttons. Please let me know.

You should follow these menus from your Joomla back-end: Extensions > Plugin Manager
And find Content – Page Navigation plugin. You should disable this plugin to get rid of page navigation links.
