Hi,

i have a hosting package and 2 domains parked on it. On one of them I have extracted joomla template, but i must have put it in the wrong folder because everything i do is also on the other domain, where it should’t be. Now i would like to place a new domain there also, but i don’t know where to unpack joomla.

i’ve extracted joomla in public_html, without any subfolder.

can someone please help me and tell me where do i have to unpack joomla for all of these 3 domains, and still have the home page set as http://www.exaple.com, and not http://www.example.com/folder?

i hope you understood my question, and i would be VERY grateful for your answer.

If you have 3 domains you should have 2 sub folders in your public_html

Public_html should be whatever domain you originally registered with the hosting providoer. Then any “Addon” domains should have thier own folder. So what you would do is unpack joomla to your two ‘addon’ domain subfolders. For your main domain that is on the public_html default you would unpack it direclty into that directory.
