if you are using K2 items? or joomla section/category?
if k2, you need go k2 category to set everything.

Have you checked the content settings in Module parameters?
Click No for Group by subcategories and you can choose which sections and categories you want to include.

i could not find Show Sub Category Title, instead i found only Show Category Title

if you set Group By Sub Category to yes?

in any reason, you should not hide sub category title i guess, else, why you need sub category the content in first place.
