When clicking on the Google+ share button on the blog, it tries to add it to a google bookmark instead of share it on my google+ page. The twitter and facebook buttons share fine, however the G+ share button just wants to bookmark it. Is a setting of on it?

You should configure correctly your Google setting from addthis.com website customizing your account
