Gmap is not working. When I enable the module (I did the quickstart installation with joomla 3) and open the website I get a pop-up with a google alert message that there is a problem with the api key… Am I the only one with this problem or does it depend on the country?
Can you please supply a new api key or what can I do? I would like to have gmaps working.

    Thanks

You can reference on this link: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-one-page-template-userguide/ and find 6.2 Gmap Module (custom module)

and checkout the configuration of Gmap Module on JA Onepage Template.

This module should work fine on the template.

I checked it but I can’t find anything wrong, it just gives the google alert message:

“Google has disabled use of Maps api for this application. The provided key is not a valid Google api key or it is not authorized for the google maps javascript api v3………. “

The api in the ja google map plugin is ‘AIzaSyCNIJV_hl5sVimQSQlc7PsP9-Kz0KGGQ1Y’ ..Could it be that it is because I have joomla 3 installed, or what could it be, why the pop-up message from google? Thanks

Yeah, because your site is using old API Key V2, I have helped you register API Key on here and added it into JA Google Map on your site

Please check it again let me know if it helps

    Try this plugin : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/maps-a-weather/maps-a-locations/maps/22162

No API needed, works a treat. Replace the suggested curly bracket code in the Gmap module and you’re away.

    Hi
I created an API-Key and updated it in JA Google Map but still gettig the error: “Google has disabled use of Maps api for this application. The provided key is not a valid Google api key or it is not authorized for the google maps javascript api v3………. ”

Could you have a look at http://www.öpfelbom.ch/live ?

I have installed the latest version of JA System Google Map plugin for J2.5 & J3.1 v2.5.3 and I have just set up the example data for JAOnePage.

    Thanks
