This template is great !
A nice feature would be to be able to geolocate the user when showing maps, how could that be done ?

I can’t think of any extension that I know of that does exactly what you want, but this surely can be developed. This is not, however, as easy as it sounds. You will need to ask new users or users logging in from a new location to choose what that new location is, save their setting in the database, and then display it when they re-access your website from the same location.

Thanks for your answer, indeed, I did not see this neither.

I was not thinking about getting users infos, but using Google map API to get their coordinates like :
https://developers.google.com/maps/articles/geolocation

If I get something I’ll come and post it for sure !

# User visit your site.
# Log user IP
# User GeoIP to locate user location or use browser geo ( actually it’s still use GeoIP but managed by browser )
I have worked this feature in JomSocial core past year ago 😉
# User this location into Google Map

Ps:// GeoIP some sites provide for free but for detail db it’ll require paid product.
