When I open an article or custom html module, the Font Awesome icons (coded within the text) disappears. I figure it is the text editor that strips it (I am using JCE Content Editor).

Using a text editor, is there any way to keep this from happening? Constantly inserting the code via the source can be a bother to maintain content. Please help.

Hi,

I have tested with latest version 2.3.4.4 of JCE editor in Joomla! 3.x but didn’t see the problem (look like it has been updated in latest version instead).

In case you don’t want to update your current plugin, you can follow these steps :

1. Go to backend (admin) >>> Components >>> JCE Editor >>> Editor Profiles >>> choose Default profile

2. Switch to tab Editor Parameters >>> choose Advanced >>> in Extended Elements >>> type in
+i

Save then recheck.
