Hi, it took me ages to figure out why seo urls where not working, finally I noticed using SEF Advance debug that the template is the problem.

I switched to another template and the seo urls worked instantly.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? and is there a solution?

Yes, see http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=32568&postcount=12 and the following posts. The admin said the download packages have been updated by now.
