Few months ago, we put our Facbook ID, and it is working fine.

Now we just want make change in this module, but it is impossible to put our Facebook Page ID.
When we save this, always this number appears : 2147483647 !!!

Hello, can we have some news about this bug ???

We don’t know how joomlart manages and tests these updates, but it’s a real mess…

    @viet Vu

    <blockquote>Fixed.
You have installed module for Joomla! 1.5 not for Joomla! 1.7</blockquote>

Ok, we never install a joomla 1.5’s version of this module (JA Facebook Social – Like Box) !

You install the version 1.1.1, but there is a update to 1.1.2 (with JAEM).
    We installed this update.
And… after this update this bugs appears again !

So what can we do to fix this ??

    Thank in advance.

We are tired of bugs from the “updates” of joomlart !

<blockquote>1) So we should not use JAEM ??

    2) And what about this bug ??</blockquote>

    hi
yes, as personal i dont prefer use ja ext manager to upgrade stuffs.
i think in your case jaem upgraded invalid version and thats trouble.

So, it is a bug from JAEM ?

We’ll try a rollback to see if it is working …

Ok, it is working with a rollback to version 1.1.1.

So can you inform the dev’s team of this bug ?

We are tired of bugs from the “updates” of joomlart !

Yes let’s me inform to them
ps:// once again as personal i don’t prefer to use JAEM for any kind of upgrade !

    Thank you

    Ok, we’ll follow your advice.

But a few weeks ago, we had a dispute with n6rej (Bear),
who told us to always put our extensions up to date with Jaem…

And this thread is not solved.
It is fixed with a temporary solution, but this bug from JAEM is still running !

    Hi
I don’t want to be “conflict” with another guys in team, so i have no comments about suggest of n6rej.
But at my side i often want to find out root of issue as developer thinking not just only ask “supporting” . So i’m not go the way like “go go go man, upgrade it man .. … and maybe it should have fixed your issue ???!!! ” until i know root logic of issue.
Upgrade actually just like a “pack” with fixed code. And as developer we must know what’s changed / what’s going …etc .

    Back to this module
#1. would you mind send me 1.2.2 ( is it ? ) module which you have after upgraded by JAEM ? So i can check code of this ?
#2. In this thread we are going with module Facebook Like Box, and we got solution. So i think we can make this thread as solve.
But create another thread like ” JAEM make trouble for Module FB Like box after upgraded to 1.2.2 “.

    Thank you

    Yes.

And we are not saying this to go into conflict (with n6rej, which is a great coder, and has already helped a lot).

We just want to point out that all the members of joomlart’s team should be more coordinated.

    So for this
<blockquote>#1. would you mind send me 1.2.2 ( is it ? ) module which you have after upgraded by JAEM ? So i can check code of this ?</blockquote>

We don’t know how to give you the module, because it has upgraded with JAEM.
But if you want to check, please go (all infos are in the ticket) and made the update to 1.1.2 (This our test site).

    Thank in advance.

    Hi dieudonne!

When I test with version 1.1.2 in my site, i don’t see the error you notice 🙁

In the site of you, it’s still a version 1.1.1

Now, can you upgrade to 1.1.2, pls?

    Thanks:)

    Ok, version 1.1.2 installed.

    And now it is working.
So is there a update of the 1.1.2 ?
