Hi, i have used this module before on one of my other sites and had no problem, its a great module, but on my new site (joomla 2.5) i keep getting an error message saying

“Could not retrieve ID for the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.”

I have a page number with 15 digits, and in the module manager it seems to be dropping the last two digits….
help?

please check have you provided the facebook page id or your profile Id. Please confirm.

provide the Id you passed

Hi, I have the same problem with the JA Facebook Social, I pass the correct ID from my Facebook page, and after I saved it took this ID: 2147483647 automatic.

I’m working with Joomla 2.5

No, it didn’t work.

Everytime I put an ID, when I Saved it, changen the ID, to 2147483647

Go to modules/mod_jafacebooklikebox/mod_jafacebooklikebox.xml

Find this code which would not be similar to all and remove this code fromthe below ‘filter=”integer”‘

I really could use some help also; I have used this module on different sites and it works great, but now on a new site I am working on, I keep getting the same error-message: “There was an error fetching the like box for the specified page.” IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS! Please help me, I could really use it…

I solved it by making a Business Facebook page. It doesn’t seem to work on someone’s personal page…

Facebook like box now needs an ‘href’ param too in the <iframe src=””> url & this module is not adding that, so to make it work do the follwoing:

Add the below line to the mod_jafacebooklikebox.php
$aParams[‘href’] = “http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F” . $params->get(‘id’, ‘123144964369587’);

thats it! the like box will start showing the page likes.
