I don’t can install this component with JA Lime.
JA Lime : Joomla 1.6 and JA Comment Joomla 1.6

The probleme is just with “com_jacomment.v1.0.1.zip”
I have this message :

I have not problem with plugin and module.

Please try updating your Joomla install to versionn 1.6.1. The patch file is available from here – http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=5785

You can still install the patch. Simply unzip the files in the download and upload them to your server usinf your ftp app. Make sure you overwrite the old files with the new ones and you should be OK.

now, I have install the patch but i don’t can install ja comment.

I have try ton install ja comment with an other template of joomla 1.6 and i can.

But no with ja lime.

Hello,

This is problem of template’s quickstart.

Please open your database in your mysql.
open the table #__extensions and #__menu then find jacomment component’s information in 2 tables.
Note:
You can find information of jacomment in #__extensions( With element=”com_jacomments”)
in #__menu (with alias=”ja-comment” )

Removed all information of jacomment in the 2 tables then try to install it again.
