Currently, this is what the Joomlart Terms and Conditions states:

“You are not allowed to use our templates or products on the 3rd domain. If you have 3 or more domains using our template or products, you must remove the templates on the other domains to make sure that our template are used on 2 and only 2 domains.”

However, if you purchase the $70 package it clearly states that you get 3 domains with your purchase. The next package is $200, which gives you 10 domains, etc… If you hover your mouse over the question mark icon under “Domains” on this list, it reads as follows;

“The number of domains on which you are allowed to use JA Club templates”

Judging by past forum topics, I am not the only one who is confused by the Terms and Conditions. Especially when the Joomlart FAQ says this:

1. For JA CLUB MEMBERSHIP: The domains and license are various depending on the lenght of your membership and you can see the comparision HERE . The non-profit domains will not be counted to the total of licensed domains. You can use/change any templates released during your membership period on the licensed domain. Sub domain (john.yourdomain.com) and the main domain (yourdomain.com) will be considered as 1 domain.

So, it appears that Joomlart is telling us two different things.

1. (Terms and Conditions) Unless you purchase a Development package, you can only use JA Club templates on TWO domains. Period.

2. (FAQ and package chart) The number of domains you’re allowed to put JA Club templates on depends on which package you buy. If you buy a THREE domain package, you can put templates on THREE domains, etc.

Someone needs to update the Terms and Conditions, as it is wrong. If it’s not wrong, then why would anyone purchase anything greater than a TWO domain package?

This is not correct, you’ve misunderstood the terms and conditions. What is meant by the 2 domains is that you can have it running on http://www.yoursite.com and subdomain.yoursite.com. However, you cannot then have it installed on subdomain3.yoursite.com or else this is classed as the third domain that you have misunderstood.

If you purchase a 3 domain license, then you can install it on three seperate domains and 3 subdomains of the domains that you choose.

You may want to re-word your terms and conditions then, as it sounds like you’re saying you can only use templates on 2 domains with any membership purchase.

Sorry, I’m not so good in English 🙂 and like to leart from one situation to general.

so… Example…. If I registered one non-profit domain (also privat) : http://www.about-all.de
can the Admin from http://www.about-all.de use templates for subdomains (new.about-all.de, forum.about-all.de)? or schould I register each subdomain?

p.s. have developer membership
