There appears to be a documentation error here:

    http://t3-framework.org/documentation/bs3-faqs#template-styles

What is the difference between a template and a template style? The documentation above doesn’t appear to answer it, or at best is confusing.

    Eg:

    “What is Joomla Template

The Template controls the overall look and layout of your site. It provides the framework that brings together common elements, modules and components as well as providing the cascading style sheet for your site.

    What is Joomla Template Style

The Template controls the overall look and layout of your site. It provides the framework that brings together common elements, modules and components as well as providing the cascading style sheet for your site. Both the Front-end (Site) and the Back-end (Administrator) of your site have templates.”

The above seem to be saying essentially the same thing.

Additionally I am struggling to differentiate between the various terms used. Eg

A Theme seems to control the styles of the site (eg it makes the Style Sheet Changes).
A Joomlart Style seems to be used to modify the layout of the site, and attributes of the site.
A Template seems to affect the global layout of a site and its default thematic styles.

The terms seem overloaded and very confusing to me!

Can the documentation be improved in this regard?

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for your feedback on our user guide.
Part of our documentation at http://t3-framework.org/documentation/bs3-faqs#template-styles has just been updated. Hopefully the terms about template & a template style are clearer now.
