I don’t know if it is the JA template, or VM, but VM does not like to have multiple items on the same line. I have the same problem with one of my sites.
You can edit the VM product template, or make your products list on a single line in the VM configuration.
You can also try unpublishing all the modules on the right hand side. It may make the listings spread out.
