    .purplebackground p{
    background-color: #ff00ff;
    }

    I put the above in my custom.css file.
    Then in an article I put

    class=”purplebackground” Ready? Get started today! Contact us

    I was expecting to see a paragraph with a purple background, but it didn’t work. Can you tell what I am doing wrong.
