I am using JaUvite template on Joomla 1.5.14. If Ja-News FP is active the visualization with IE is terrible, deactivating is ok. With Firefox is quite correct (only bold character instead of nomal).
No problem with only Ja News extension.

Some can help me?

Look at the index.php of the template.
Around line 50 you will find:
<!–>

Delete the gte, so that the code looks:
<!–>

This fixed display problems in IE for me (tested with IE6, 7 and 8)

but in my case, there were some tags problem in the article used in Frontpage.
