1st problem: When I click on any items in the “from the blog” module at the bottom, I just get a refresh of the page, with the SEF url of the blog, but I don’t get the article itself. It just shows the same page again…
Not sure why this is happening.
2nd problem: I need to put some text on the 3rd slide, and it’s already setup in the parameters, but it’s not actually showing on the slide. How can I get the text to show?

For homepage:

For blog item

They are same itemid 435. For homepage you are using profile without component. That’s why.

Also, not sure why on the 2nd and 3rd slide in the SlideShow, the text does not show, unlike in the first one – where the text is ok.

As above my replied. You’ll need setup your menu item to make sure all content categories have right menu item ( itemid ). That’ll prevent use current page ( homepage ) itemid with no component layout.
And / or you can apply component layout for all pages included homepage.

I have NOT setup the menu this way – this is all coming from the JA Content Slider. It is picking up articles from the Blog or from other categories. All of this is part of the quickstart install of JA Nuevo – which looks like it’s broken out of the box.

Ok that fixed it – thanks. had to create a new menu item, which is blog, and this is hidden, it does not really show.
