Hi

tried to FTP new header images to template header folder and received FTP permission error.

Tried to CHMOD folders and system wouldn’t allow updates.

Is their a work around to this problem?

It is a Joomla issue. You could change the folder permission by setting in Site Global configuration, server tab.

if you dont know whats going on go to joomla.org and download the joomxplorer component and install it. you will have a direct ftp component that has the permissions to overwrite files without creating a huge security risk. you can go to you template folder and to images and upload from desktop and make it will overwrite them if not erase them using joomxplorer then upload with it also. that works the best.
