    Hi

It’s integrated in T3 framework – not a separate module, you can update the login info of your site and tell me how you want it should be. I will check for you.

Then how do I use it? The documentation shows it as a separate module. I have a login module that is assigned to the "megamenu" module position, but nothing shows up like is seen on the demo.

I have setup the quick install on a separate directory /j3quick. Our actual development site is still at /j3. By viewing the quick start site, I see that the items in the megamenu are assigned to position "mega-item". I assigned items to mega-item on the /j3 site but they still do not show up. What else is missing?

    Hi

You’re using JA Teline III built with old JAT3 v2 framework, you can go to Extensions > Templates > JA Teline III template style > Profiles tab and look for Menu settings > change the menu / menu type you wish: http://prntscr.com/brc2do

I just changed to megamenu type for the Main menu display on your site.

What you should do to add a new menu item is you go to Backend > Menus > Main menu and add menu item you want, then it will display on frontend.

You can check out this documentation for more info: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/wiki-ja-t3v2-joomla-2-5/navigation

Remember to clean JAT3 cache after changing.

Thanks for the reply but I didn’t say anything about the mainmenu. That’s fine. I need to get the very top right menu displaying that in the documentation says uses Megamenu and says to assign modules to position mega-item. On the demo site, this includes: Features, Members, Twitter, More Info. On our /j3 site, we have "Members" setup as a login module assigned to mega-item. It doesn’t show though.

So you should ask for ‘How to create top mega menu as demo site’ in the first place of this topic, it would save much time for both of us.

Firstly, you will need to create a menu: I just created a menu called Top Mega on your site

Next, you create modules you want to show under this top mega menu, see the list of modules in our demo site here: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-teline-iii-v2#create-demo

Then, you create menu item for Top Mega menu created in 1st step. I created ‘Features’ menu item for sample on your site. It will have External URL menu type and the important thing is that you must open the ‘Parameters (JA Extended)’ tab and select the module you want to show under this menu item: http://prntscr.com/brsi9i

Once done, remember to clean JAT3 cache.

I referenced the demo mega menu multiple times. I even mentioned specific items in that menu such as the "Members" login. I’m sorry if I didn’t word the question in a particular way, but going back to re-read it, I’m not sure where the confusion was from what I was asking. Anyway… no where in your documentation does it remotely hint that you have to create an external link menu item or another menu to make this work. It references a module that actually doesn’t exist… and tells you to create modules in a particular module position, which doesn’t seem to actually matter.

Thanks for your help and I’m glad we finally got a resolution. Hopefully this thread will help others too and see how to use this. 🙂
