    Hi,

I have a problem. We made a site for our customer wafelfrietjes.mascomm.be . He can add items to a directory, but somehow some of the url’s he entered in a extra field called “website” become relative url’s. They are placed behind the url of the site itself. Like when I entered http://www.jamin.nl and i check it in the frontend it becomes wafelfrietjes.mascomm.be/www.jamin.nl .

This doesn’t happen when I put “http://” before the url. So tried editing the fields that don’t have “http://” in front of the url. But when I click save and I re-check the edited extra field , it hasen’t changed! I wanted it to be http://www.jamin.nl but I just remains http://www.jamin.nl !

I tried turning off the global chace and the cache plugin but it didn’t work. It only works when I clear the browser’s cache. But I have to clear the browser’s cache everytime I want to edit a field ! How is it possible ? It’s like there’s a k2 caching-thing enabled that caches the backend?

    thanks

PS when I check in firebug I can see it puts a “/” in front of the url:

    for example
    <a target=”_blank” href=”/www.koksijdegolfterhille.be”>www.koksijdegolfterhille.be</a>

Does anyone know what php file i should edit to remove he “/” before the url?

I added a screenshot to clarify my problem:

    Hi dageraad,

Regarding to the cache issue, thought that it relates to K2 rather than our template, kindly go to K2 forum and submit the same thread there.

With the second question, I can’t access your site now, pls check my private message.
